Edge Effect was commissioned to review diverse SOGIESC inclusion across the Australian Volunteers Program. This program provides volunteer placements in 26 countries.  Our work included an inception workshop with Program staff, a review of internal and external literature, a survey of LGBTIQ+ volunteers, key informant interviews with staff and volunteers, participation in pre-departure briefings, review of online resources for volunteers, and review of organisational policy and country security plans.. The resultant report is internal only, however references can be provided. Edge Effect continues to work with the Program to implement recommendations, and this work was part of a panel discussion at the 2020 Australasian Aid Conference.
